The seminar will inform students about the options available to them, the opportunities in different fields, and guide them to make the right career choice.

Ahmedabad (Gujarat), April 29: The Ahmedabad Branch of the Western India Regional Council of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will host a free career counselling seminar for students passing out of high school on Sunday, May 1.

“Passing out of class 12 is an important milestone in the life of every student. It is also the time when students have to decide which field they want to pursue a career in. There are many options available, but many students are unable to decide “What After 12th?”. This is especially the case because of many new and emerging fields. The career counselling seminar is an attempt to inform students about the career options available to them, the opportunities in each field, and to guide them to make the right career choice,” said CA Bishan Shah, Chairperson of Ahmedabad Branch of ICAI.

The ICAI’s focus is to promote commerce education with a special focus on CA course, but experts at the seminar will also provide guidance about Engineering, MBA, Medical, Law, Civil Services, Sports, Artificial Intelligence, Architecture, Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Blockchain, International Education, Actuarial Science, Company Secretary, Cost Accountants, and many more traditional and new fields.

Among those present at the seminar will include CA Hans Raj Chugh, Chairman of ICAI’s Committee on Career Counselling,  CA Purushottam Khandelwal, Vice Chairman of the Committee, and other Committee members. Top officials of the ICAI Ahmedabad Branch will also be present at the seminar and guide students.

“We appeal to students to attend the career counselling seminar and benefit from the experience and wisdom of the expert speakers. The seminar is free and open for all students, but participants will be required to register to attend it,” said CA Purshottam Khandelwal- Vice Chairman of Career counselling committee of ICAI, New Delhi.
