The “Jewel of Western India” – “Gujarat” is celebrating its 61st foundation day on 1st May 2021. The state of Gujarat came into existence on 1st May 1960 after the bifurcation of the erstwhile Mumbai state.
Surat (Gujarat) [India], May 01: Taking inspiration from the words of Hon’ble Prime Minister and his vision of building a new Atma Nirbhar Bharat by the year 2022, the students of IDT made a composition on Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav staying at home under the guidance of our faculty Ms. Aarushi Upreti to commemorate the monumental occasion of 75 years of India’s Independence which falls on 15th August 2022. Their creation was compiled to form the wall of “Atma Nirbhar ka Amrut” and displayed Surat Airport on the Gujarat Sthapana Divas.
Through this creation, they have paid tribute to the freedom fighters who devoted their lives to getting independence. The Dandi March scenario has been depicted at the top because the celebrations for 75th Independence Day began on Friday, March 12, marking the anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s Salt Satyagraha.
The Director of Surat Airport conveyed “we need such creations to spread positivity when the country is battling with the Pandemic & these things enlighten the fact that united we stand and just like we got independence, we would definitely win over the prevailing situation in the country.”
The Director of IDT, Mr. Anupam Goyal urged “This Gujarat day, let us unite in love & work towards spreading happiness all around and show gratitude to the real warriors who are fighting towards Pandemic & making efforts to bring a safer environment to live in.”
Happy Gujarat Sthapna Divas to all. “Garvi Gujarat”.
